Creative Thinking in Everyday Life
Explore practical ways to try ideas and notice your creative preferences.
Make several small options
Choose an everyday challenge and write three possible approaches before selecting one. For example, sketch different ways to arrange a workspace. Give each option a brief chance before deciding which is easiest to try.
Separate ideas from evaluation
First collect possibilities, then compare them against your constraints. A useful idea may be ordinary but well suited to the situation. Creativity does not have to produce an artistic object or an entirely original invention.
Reflect on the experiment
Try one small change and record what happened. Keep what worked and adjust what did not. CharacterTest’s Creativity score counts certain imaginative choices; it is not a measure of talent and should not discourage you from making things.
